Serious FP&A.
Without the enterprise implementation.

Pick a sector template, enter your numbers and see the P&L move in the same workspace. Adapt formulas later, once the first budget is already alive.

The plan moves forward.
Not between files.

From the first assumptions to the approved result, each step belongs to the same model.

  1. Start with a ready template

Choose Consultancy, SaaS or Manufacturing. Lines, formulas and a connected P&L are already structured. Add your numbers, check the result, then adapt the model as needed.

Your own budget starts without the example’s fictional values.
  2. Give every team its part

Assign owners and dimension access. Teams work in their own slice; you keep the whole picture.

    One workspace. Clear ownership.
  3. Close the cycle with confidence

Review submissions, return with a reason, and publish the approved P&L. Import actuals to compare against your plan.

    Budget. Actuals. Forecast.

The formulas you know.
A plan that stays connected.

Start with =, cell references, SUM and IFERROR. Choose a formula, change the assumption and check the result — calculated by the same engine used in the product.

Keep the spreadsheet logic you already understand, with shared access, approval workflows and a connected P&L. Supported Excel formulas are preserved on import; unsupported formulas need review. Macros and complete Excel compatibility are not included.

Shared work.
Clear accountability.

Finance adapts the template. Managers fill their part. Approvers see what needs their attention — and teams see exactly why an input was returned.

Do I need to leave Excel behind?

No. Start with Excel or CSV, review the mappings and supported formulas, then continue in Prumo’s grid. You can export the model again. Unsupported formulas are flagged for review; Prumo does not claim complete Excel compatibility.

Where do actuals come from?

From a separate CSV or XLSX upload. Map accounting accounts, periods and dimensions, then review before importing. Budget values are not copied into actuals.

What happens to an approved number?

A working P&L and a published P&L are different views. Changes that affect an approval require review; they do not silently rewrite the published snapshot.

Is the public demo saved?

No. The public demo uses a fictional company and resets on reload. To work on a persistent budget, sign in and create a model in your workspace. Do not put real company data in the public demo.
